After owning 2 copies of the original G Pro X Superlight, I was excited for an upgrade to one of my favorite mice.
The shape is unchanged and still remains the same as the previous superlight, and the first release, the G Pro Wireless. This shape works well for essentially all grip styles and feels great to aim with.
The weight is essentially identical to the original superlight, which can be considered disappointing to those who hoped for a lower weight.
The coating on the mouse is nothing special; you aren't getting a rubberized coating like on Vaxee or Zowie mice, or the more recent Razer mice. This leads to a very mediocre grip feeling, and the included rubber grips don't do a great job at improving that either. I would definitely opt for aftermarket grip tape if you have very dry hands.
The scroll wheel feels decent quality, nothing special, but no issues whatsoever, which is great for those of us who use scroll wheel to jump in-game.
The side buttons feel decent, but still worse than many of the other mice on the current market, as they're much smaller, and don't feel as light and crispy as some of the better side button implementations.
The mouse skates are decent. The lack of rounded edges makes them not feel great on softer mousepads as you'll get more of a "digging" feeling, so I would replace them with alternative ptfe skates if you are using a soft/x-soft mousepad.
The sensor quality feels great and is smooth, absolutely no concerns there. There had been some reports of sensor spin-outs but it seems they fixed those through a firmware upsate, and shouldn't be a concern to buyers in the future.
The build quality and quality control on my unit is where my feelings go from unimpressed to downright disappointed. The sides had slightly more flex than my original superlights, but nothing too noticeable for it to be a concern, however after essentially a days worth of use I noticed that both my left and right click had become very very loose feeling, as if the tensioning screws that keep the clicks in place weren't fully tightened, or the tolerances of the click pieces weren't up to par. This accompanied by the less tactile feeling of the optical switches compared to the original superlights standard mechanical seitches, lead to a less than optimal click feeling.
At first this issue seemed minimal, as I figured the click feel shouldn't effect in game performance too much, but the looseness of the clicks created a grinding sensation alongside an overall rattly feel in the clicks that was EXTREMELY distracting in game.
Being advertised as an esports/competitive gaming mouse, any buyers are likely looking for the best they can get, and this feels subpar to the other current releases.
I would recommend purchasing the original superlight (which is cheaper!) for a better experience. For those of you who dislike the shape of the g pro, but want a symmetrical mouse still, I would look towards the Razer viper v3 pro. If you are looking for an ergonomic shape, then I would opt for a Razer deathadder v3 pro.
I hope for future iterations of the g pro, logitech can take some inspiration from the other top dogs in the high-end gaming mice scene, such as Finalmouse, Razer, Vaxee, and Zowie.

Traded my Logitech G502(1st gen) for this and would say it is great. It is as light, if not lighter than my G502 without its weights & battery lasts for long time. It has USB type "C" as a connector, which is a plus, and connect on the same dongle as my G915 keyboard. Also, I love how comfortable it is to use the mouse and it is ambidextrous use.

There are couple downside to this is that it doesn't have a free scroll wheel & side to side click like my G903. There is a limited amount of programmable keys, which I use for DPI adjustment. To Save Weight I guess... which is fine & understandable.

However, it is a pain that there is no dedicated button for DPI adjustment, which I had to use the 2 side buttons for DPI use. Also it is reliant to the Logitech Program to use the full capabilities of the mouse since it comes out the box 3600 dpi or less. Another, Logi Software is horrendous to use as it always doesn't work. It would be best to just program the mouse first and set it to onboard memory mode for ease of use.

Finally, I was going to rate this 4 Stars, but change it to 3 Stars due to customer experience being Horrible. Since purchasing is part of the experience. I would say that the customer service was lazy. I wanted to split pay this with a E-Giftcard & credit, but instead said no b/c it was too much of a bother to try and do something. The BestBuy (Westbury, NY) Customer Service, was 1st accommodating, but after having problems with their system. Which is not my fault... The treatment went from kindness to, I don't want to bother with you, quickly.

The new Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 lives up to its name at a scant 60 grams, yet it fills my hand well and has the usual superb Logitech build quality. I felt no sacrifices were made in quality or feel due to its weight.
There are two buttons on the left side, they need less pressure than my other Logitech mice do but they work as expected. No buttons on the right. On the top there are the usual left/right buttons which have a solid click and feel.
Last is the combination button/scroll wheel. The scroll wheel when pushed down is a firm button requiring more pressure than the other buttons. No doubt this to ensure its not clicked by accident when scrolling with the wheel. The scroll wheel itself scrolls very well with a detent for each line as I set it. I found its resistance dialed in perfectly, I never scrolled too far.

The mouse setup was easy. Charge it fully, power it on, then plug in the wireless USB adapter it came with, which stores inside the mouse behind the bottom round cover. It was recognized and worked as a generic mouse by Windows 11. The older version of the GHub software I had did not recognize this new mouse.
Once I updated GHub to the latest version, all the options were available to tweak and make this mouse work as desired. The GHub app has really become a well featured and polished bit of software over the past few years. More so in the past few months.

Next, I tried it with the Logitech G Powerplay Wireless Charging System. First, I replaced the round cover on the bottom with the POWERPLAY Charging Coin so it can charge wirelessly while the mouse is on the pad. Then I paired the SUPERLIGHT 2 with the receiver in the mouse pad. I had to remove my G903 first. It seems only one mouse can be paired to the PowerPlay at a time. Once done, everything worked perfectly. I am glad to see that Logitech is continuing to support the Logitech G Powerplay Wireless Charging System as it costs as much as a premium mouse does. No regrets, it works great, no more dead mice at the wrong time and always a fast connection with the receiver built in. Highly recommended.

Before trying the SUPERLIGHT 2, I was using the Logitech G903 mouse, which is nearly double the weight at 117 grams with its optional 10-gram weight. The SUPERLIGHT 2 also sports a 32K sensor vs the 24k on my G903 mouse. After using the G903 and other heavy mice over the years, this is a change and took a bit of getting used to. Now that I have and I’m not going off the edge of the pad, I do feel my reactions are faster, which makes sense not having to move so much extra weight around. Amazing what 57 grams can do. And I can be more precise with the higher resolution. Both are important in first person shooter games. This is my new gaming mouse.

I do plan to keep using the G903 around. The G903 has extra buttons I use that the SUPERLIGHT 2 does not. And though heavy, it’s no slouch and can serve well as a backup mouse for gaming if needed. There may be some games where the extra weight is welcome.

If you’re thinking about getting this one, go ahead and get it. Try it out for a week and if you don’t feel the same way, I’ll be surprised, but you can return it to BestBuy easy enough. You have nothing to lose but the trip and much to gain.

The dongle and charger it came with isn’t working out of the box, so I had to use my own USB-C charger. So, I am not too happy about that. Quality points reduced for that. Tried connecting the mouse via the cord and it just wouldn’t work, even thought it was the port but no the port is fine it was the wire it came with, had to test a different charger to get it to work. The mouse is fast, there is no dpi button so you have to adjust everything in Logitech G Hub, another app to download that I was not too keen on and when being used by anyone it was nonsensical to download the app on everyone’s computer. Overall, it’s a nice mouse, fast but the issues that were experienced does not justify the price. I don’t know who would be using the mouse at 32000 dpi speeds because it’s not feasible and your mouse goes so fast you can’t keep track of where it went at that speed. I keep it at around 6000 dpi which is still pretty fast. The features do not outweigh the cost in my opinion. I would have expected to reduce or increase my dpi settings at the click of a button depending on my tasks but that’s not a feature it has and there is no setting to make even the wheel adjust it for you, therefore it’s cumbersome to manipulate. If you have small hands, it is light but it’s quite large so your fingers are spread out quite a bit for small hands. Also, the magenta is more pink than anything.
