Segger J-Link EDU & TMS470AVF689

I just got a J-Link and have been experimenting with a Ford 6000 and J-Flash ARM. I can connect to the TMS470 OK but can only read the first 256k of flash. It wont read from 0x40000 to 0x5FFFF. I assume its the init sequence and where the RAM is configured? I'm using the TMS470R1VF689.jflash from the sample projects that come with J-Flash ARM. J-Mem works perfectly. Has anyone got any pointers or init sequence that works. I've been reading the datasheets for the 470 and I am getting to grips with the MFBAH/L register stuff @ 0xFFFF-FExx. Any help greatly appreciated in speeding my learning curve.

Hi!Dunker! I tried to readTms 470 689 with no succes ,It is read about 60% and then disconnect.
I tried with TMS470 288 and it read perfectly.

I'm trying for a few hours now to read one of this car stereo and failing. Also my board is slightly different from what I can see in your picture... Can someone show where is awd pads on my board? I'm getting segger error:
Could not detect CPU clock speed.
Readback of test code downloaded into RAM failed.
Failed to measure CPU clock frequency.
Failed to connect.
Could not read read target memory, not connected.

Stereo is powered on and when segger attempt to connect it switching off/restarting.


I managed now to read this: Is it a valid dump?

I read eeprom via points sda scl gnd,but all 00000000000000000000000000000 read ok,verify ok.....

Read as 3,3v
Radio On. Turn down the voltage to 7,5v

Why not detedting the mcu speed?

Connecting via USB to J-Link device 0

To get your code we use TMS & eeprom.. but to reset you only need to change the eeprom
