‘Tsukubana Kurreani’ has brilliant displays of intense red flowers in February and March. A hybrid between a Japanese and Chinese Witchhazel, these cultivars are unique in their ability to flower early in the year over a long period of time when little else is in bloom. Each flower has four ribbon-like petals that unfold on warm days and close tightly again when cold.
