侄，或作姪，是一种亲属关系的称谓，指哥哥或弟弟的子女。称呼男性的侄为侄子、侄儿或侄，女性的侄则称为侄女；自己为男性，对方称呼自己作伯父或叔父，自己为女性，对方称呼自己作姑母。现代除非从母姓，否则侄是一定与本人同姓，类同堂的性质。
